Dr. Farnen, received his B.S. from the University of California, Irvine, and his podiatric medical degree at the William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. His residency training was completed at Eastern Virginia Medical School.
During his time in medical school, Dr. Farnen received an NIH Summer Research Grant for his research in Diabetes and wound healing. He went on to graduate top of his class, and served as chief resident during his residency training.
Dr. Farnen is currently a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association and the Tennessee Podiatric Medical Association. At Advanced Foot & Ankle, Dr. Farnen will be working with all aspects of the foot and ankle, but he’s particularly passionate about diabetic limb salvage and reconstruction. He has also received extensive training in forefoot and rear foot reconstructive surgery.
Dr. Farnen is originally from Southern California, but loves his new home in Nashville. When he’s not at one of the clinics, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to concerts, and attending sporting events.
