Tell us a little about your background.
I’m originally from Potomac, MD and attended undergrad at the University of Maryland. For med school, I went to Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and then completed my residency training at Virginia Tech Carilion in Roanoke, VA.
What characteristics come to mind when you think of the ideal doctor?
Takes time to understand patient needs. Utilizes conservative treatment options as first line therapy unless aggressive treatment is needed
What drew you to the medical field? Was there a particular moment in time where you realized that you wanted to pursue medicine professionally?
Always interested in medicine since childhood. Enjoyed watching medical TV shows and surgery documentaries.
What do you like most about living in Nashville?
Good food. Numerous activities. Friendliness and candor of the people of Nashville.
What aspirations do you have both professionally and personally?
Continuously grow and improve my practice based on the latest advances in modern medicine to provide patients the best care.
When you’re not at work, how do you like to spend your time?
Trying out new places to eat, traveling to new places, motorsports racing, and hiking with the dog!
